“This cabin was beautifully constructed with wood from a historic tobacco barn, which gave it a historic feel despite being fairly recently built. The views off the front porch were GORGEOUS- overlooks a cow pasture and then a small mountain range. It was so relaxing to sit on the rocking chairs on the porch and take in the pastoral scenery. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed and well stocked in the kitchen. Firewood was provided and we definitely made use of the fireplace to sit around……

“Great cabin to disconnect from the world for a long weekend. The kitchen was well equipped, so we ate most dinners at the cabin. Plus the fire pit area was great and had firewood ready to go. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. ”

“Excellent location! Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek and we could easily watch them as we made a fire and relaxed on the porch. Bedroom was large enough to have floor space for kid mats to sleep on. Wi-Fi was weak but fire tv kept us entertained when it rained. Super close to lots of hikes and overlooks. I would book this again! Picture online do not do it justice. Very spacious for our family of four.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin and can’t wait to come back! From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming and full of personality. One of our favorite spots was the sweet little bench by the kitchen window perfect for sipping coffee from the beautiful brown pottery cups while taking in the airy, light-filled kitchen. The thoughtful drink selection was such a nice touch too.The living space was inviting, with a comfy couch and soft pillows that made us feel instantly at home. We……

“My husband and I love this cabin and want to go back in the Spring. The property is gorgeous and very private. The sounds and views of the Maury River from the porch was very relaxing. We noticed people walking, biking and jogging on a trail on the opposite side of the river and discovered that they were on a portion of the Chessie Trail. We drove to one of the nearby trail access areas and took our two dogs on a 3 mile walk. What a treasure!”
