Lickert Harder Or Knot Lodge

Country Setting with a relaxing enclosed front and back porch. Fire ring and hearing the sounds of the great outdoors. Great location to Lake Erie for sight seeing, hunters, fishermen and bird watching. Plenty of room to park your boat and vehicles. We have a lane to walk to the creek and even fish and relax. Our 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom country home can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. Location to lake is 1 mile, fishing ramp within 3-5 miles. We are located in the prime area for walleye and perch fishing. Lickert Harder Lodge makes you feel right at home and relaxed while being close enough to many activities on Lake Erie. We are located by the largest bird week at the Ottawa Wildlife Refuge. If you like to fish or hunt or just love the lake your coming to the right location. We offer a supply of firewood for your stay
We also have a creek down the lane just to take a relaxing walk and grab a pole if you want to do some fishing back at the creek while your there.
A fish cleaning table is available for your use at the home outside. Also many lounge chairs to just relax and enjoy the country living while seeing a fabulous country sunset! Biggest Bird week at Ottawa Wildlife Refuge. National Rifle Matches at Camp Perry . Walleye and perch fishing are the best on Lake Erie! 32 miles to Cedar Point and 15 miles to Port Clinton to get to Put in Bay and the other islands. Back to the Bay 15 min from Jet Express

Comfortable and homey!

Several members of our party went birding while others stayed back to make meals, play games, and relax. Gayle and David, our host were friendly and helpful. The home is spacious and comfortable. We are returning next year.

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Lickert Harder or Knot Lodge. The location was perfect for our planned activities and the house was comfortable and cozy. Gayle was a great host and encouraged us to let her know if we needed anything. Seeing the snow geese out in the surrounding fields was a bonus. We would come here again!

Semi retired friend’s getaway

A very warm and welcoming place to stay! We had a great relaxing weekend! On Saturday afternoon we went to the Tackle Box restaurant in Fremont for some delicious Lake Erie perch. A very unique place with good and friendly service!

A pleasant surprise!

This property was perfect for our group of 9. We especially enjoyed the sunroom off the back with the large table - great for playing board games and putting together puzzles, or eating with a large group. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you!

Great Place!

We rented this unit for our fishing charter trip for 6 of us. It was an outstanding place! Clean, comfortable, convenient, plenty of space. It accommodated all of us with separate beds. A bathroom with full shower upstairs and downstairs. We wanted to book for next year and the dates are already taken.

Wonderful Family Get Away!

As our family has grown and our kids have gotten married, we were looking for a place where we could all gather together and this was the perfect spot. With a large, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful dining gathering table, and the spacious living room, we had plenty of room to gather together but then spread out for free time. The house is very clean, the property is beautiful and everything we needed was available. We highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Weekend in a Wonderful home!

Our yearly trek to Ohio to visit our son was a hit! The house was well stocked, very welcoming and clean. The owner greeted us upon check in and was extremely nice. We stayed at the house the entire weekend watching football and eating good food. The kitchen and open floor plan is great for families. Beds were comfortable. we have no complaints!

Remodeled farm house/fishing

We fished Erie. Close to Wild Wings, 10 min or less. Not a bad drive to Catawba or Mazerik with the highway bypassing Port Clinton. About a half hour drive. Nice big driveway for boat parking. Fish table was nice, asked for a light and they set one up. They were nice enough to dump the carcasses for us so left us time to focus on catching more. House was nice. Good for a group of 5-6 guys. It’s an old farm house, so rooms are a bit odd. Stairs go up in one of the bedrooms and one bedroom upstairs is in the middle of the house between the other two bedrooms and the bathroom. We will be staying here again if we have a bigger group like this time.

The home was a great size and had tons of space for our family. We went to Cedar Point and it was a decent distance to get to and from. The home had all the amenities like towels, glasses, cooking supplies which was more than our need but great for those who need them. Overall great location and stay.
