A great choice

Great location in the centre of town, with a beautiful backdrop. The indoor to outdoor pool was a real highlight, although the pool didn't seem to open until late morning. A broad breakfast buffet with a la carte options cooked to a high standard. Helpful staff and a comfortable bed!

Breakfast was a bit hectic and crowded, service attentive though. The entire interior design looks very dated even though the hotel was opened 15 years ago. It would be a good idea to free the house from the many unneeded decoration. At some points the deco looks too overwhelming. I was shocked to see a single dispenser in the shower for shampoo and shower gel (not even branded!). From a five star hotel I expect a full range of amenities by a well know brand. No turndown service provided and check-in was a hassle as they really needed all details when booking through expedia.

Beautiful property! Fantastic location on river & proximity to town. The restaurant was fabulous!! I only wish that I was more informed about the hotel & its amenities upon check in. Also, it should be noted that massages, etc are booked up far in advance, so, do so upon booking. They have a medical spa that I was unaware of, and unable to use.

Ein feiner Kurzaufenthalt

Ich war nur eine Nacht, genoß aber den Wellnes Bereich. Das Schwimmbecken im Freien war sehr fein zum schwimmen. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Schade finde ich das teilweise beide den Liegen das Alter offensichtlich ist und im Aussenbereich um den Pool einiges gemacht werden sollte. Diese Vernachlässigung sollte bei dieser Preislage nicht sein. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr lecker und echt vielseitig. Sehr nett fand ich dass wir früher zum Frühstück durften, wir hatten uns bei der Uhrzeit vertan.

So, wie ein Hotel sein sollte… Hier stimmt wirklich alles. Vom sehr bequemen Bett mit angenehmer, sehr sauberer Bettwäsche, einer hochwertigen, klassischen Zimmerausstattung, über ein großes, überaus komfortables Badezimmer. Sehr sauber und in bestem Zustand. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt überdies keine Wünsche offen, der freundliche Service hier vorbildlich. Alleine das Hotel ist eine Reise Wert. Hier gilt das Motto „Mehr Sein als Schein“. Besten Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!
