"From the photos I expected a dusty rustic cabin. Instead I found a clean room, although the furniture was a bit dated. The bathroom was modern and clean. The kitchenette was small but effective. The Nespresso machine was appreciated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You leave your luggage in their parking lot, where an attendant picks up and delivers it to your room/cabin. We had an upstairs unit so climbing stairs was required. Being upstairs we could sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool breeze and sound of crickets. We took advantage of the sauna, which you need to reserve. The staff was helpful and courteous. I'd stay there again.
A wonderful bonus Fenomen Resort offers is the incredible Plitvice National Park waterfalls view you get from following a short trail through the forest.
The last two or three kilometers to the resort is on a narrow winding road up the hill but it's worth it."
