"This looks nothing like the pictures. Rooms were filthy, and the room assigned specifically had roaches. The whole place smelled like “m” despite being “smoke free”. No one was there to check in and you had to call a random number in order for the worker to check in. Did not even stay for my booking because of how poor it was and how unsafe I felt. People were walking around with weapons. DO NOT STAY HERE!! "
"The only reason I gave this hotel stars is because the staff was EXCELLENT!!! Everyone that I encountered was extremely nice and helpful. The young lady from guest services was phenomenal!
To start the linens were clean and the room was overall pretty “clean”. My room was ready early which was great, but that first room was bad for so many reasons. I had unnecessarily loud neighbors to the point where I was taking my work calls in the bathroom because it was the only place where I couldn’t hear them, the refrigerator didn’t work, and there were ants because there is unsealed spacing around the HVAC unit. I asked if my room could be moved and I was initially told that they were completely booked. The young lady from guest services came up to my room to address the issues and returned 10 minutes later with a new room!
The new room was free from pests and much quieter.
The issues with the way the building is maintained, in my opinion, has absolutely nothing to do with the staff but everything to do with someone just doing the bare minimum in terms of repairs and renovations, but still expecting top dollar!
This hotel is the true definition of trying to put lipstick on a pig! And actually some damages in the common areas like the hallways, were just out in the open like the ripped up carpet on the second floor.
I would NOT stay here again, but I will say this, management should do everything in their power to keep every employee that was on shift during my first day."
"Everything from check-in to when I left was perfect. Peyton at check-in was extremely accommodating, moving my room to be adjacent to others traveling in my party. Recommendations for places to eat were perfect and conveniently located. Was only in the area for 2 days for a family gathering, so really didn't utilize the kitchen much, other than the fridge for beverages. Plenty of fresh towels in the bathrooms. Check out was a breeze. Will definitely consider staying again if we are back in the area. "
"The website advertises an indoor pool. The pool was closed "for the season" with the manager stating it's a seasonal pool. This was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The phones in the room did not work- not even to call down to the front desk. The television did not work upon arrival. It took two trips downstairs for the staff to come fix the television. Upon entering the room, it was quite musty due to no air circulation. Not many outlets to plug your necessities into. Very disappointed in our hotel stay."
