Maison D'hôte - Chambre Double Lavandieres

Double room with private bathroom located on the 1st floor. A small hallway, separated from the central staircase, leads to the bedroom, a large private bathroom and a WC. The room has a queen bed. A child's bed or a cot is available on request (free).
The ""Lavandières"" room refers to all the women who washed the laundry on the banks of Vienne, in Limoges. They were owners or tenants of a large flat stone placed at the bottom of the water (or washerwoman's tub), limiting their working space.
