Unwind on the screened-in porch with a hammock and rocking chairs, or step out back to enjoy the hot tub, grill, fire pit, and patio seating on the spacious deck—ideal for stargazing, game nights, or winding down after a day of adventure.

Inside, the open-concept living area features cathedral ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The fully stocked kitchen includes high-quality appliances, a KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, crockpot, waffle iron, and all the cookware and spices you need to prepare meals with ease. The dining table comfortably seats six for shared meals and board games.

The main floor has two cozy bedrooms and a full bath, while the upstairs master suite offers a peaceful retreat with a king-sized bed, warm wood paneling, and a small loft office—perfect for catching up on emails or enjoying a quiet moment. For added entertainment, the lower-level theater room features a 70" HD TV with Apple TV, an electric fireplace, and plush seating for movie nights or lounging in style.

With fast Wi-Fi and dedicated workspaces, Delicious Cabin is also a great fit for remote work or extended stays.

Nearby, you’ll find hiking, river excursions, and top vineyards like Chester Gap Cellars, Rappahannock Cellars, Crimson Lane Vineyards, and Fox Meadow Winery. Our property guide—provided after booking—includes even more curated recommendations.

For dining and shopping, Main Street in Front Royal (15 minutes away) offers great local spots like Vibrissa Beer & Kitchen and Main Street Mill, plus sweet treats from C&C Treats. Closer to the cabin, Henry’s Grocery (5 minutes) is perfect for last-minute essentials.

Outdoor adventures are just a short drive away—explore Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, float the river with Front Royal Outdoors, or take the family to Skyline Caverns for an underground experience.

PETS

We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to two dogs. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. Note that emotional support animals (ESAs) are designated as pets and subject to these fees and other pet policies. Service animals are always welcome, but please let us know about them in advance so we can let our cleaning team know.

FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES

We offer a pack n'play crib and full-sized freestanding highchair for families traveling with young ones.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

The property is served by entirely paved roads and a paved driveway. Most of the year, 2WD vehicles can access the property without issue. However, during snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD may be recommended or required. We will notify you in advance if winter or severe weather is expected, offering guidance on safe access. Full refunds are typically only provided if the property is inaccessible for more than 24 hours by 4WD or AWD vehicles.

GUEST SAFETY & WELLNESS

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. All bedding, including sheets, quilts, and blankets, is washed between reservations. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in all bedrooms, and fire extinguishers are available throughout the property.

WILDLIFE

The area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the property rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit! Just let us know if anything is out of the ordinary.

UPDATES & EXTERIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

We occasionally make updates to the property in an effort to add new amenities and ensure that we always offer safe and comfortable accommodations. As a result, furniture may occasionally differ from what is featured. During your stay, our landscaping and/or hot tub care team may service the property - we usually give you advance notice and these teams do not need to access the inside of the property (with the exception of a separately locked garage to access a mower or supplies).

SPECIAL OCCASION & PREMIUM SERVICES

We offer several special occasion decorating options and other services to make your romantic getaway or celebration worry free and one-of-a-kind. Our most popular option is our premium package that includes bubbly, fresh flowers, chocolate, balloons, and decor for $320. These typically require at least five days advance notice, but we may be able to accommodate last minute requests on a case by case basis.

Please note that upon booking confirmation, you may see two charges on your statement - one from “Edgewood Cabins” and the second from “VRBO/Homeaway” (for their service fee). Both charges will include state & county taxes.
