「We love this house. It was super quiet and cozy. The kitchen is the best stocked Vrbo kitchen we have ever encountered. If there is a drawback, I would say that it is the antique/original doorknobs. They do need to be repaired or replaced for ease of use. But on the other hand, no biggie and kind of add to the charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!」

「Wonderful spot for a long weekend. It is such a unique home, and so aesthetically pleasing. It was very comfortable and well-stocked. We loved all of the outdoor space and hot tub as well. It is one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed. Highly recommend!」

「This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. With a party of 4, including 2 older teenagers, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath can run a bit small. The common living space...living room and kitchen in particular...are very spacious. 「Matt is an awesome host! This place is perfect for 2 families traveling together (fully furnished upstairs & downstairs), or 1 family wanting extra space. The hot tub is an absolute must in the fall/winter for maximum relaxation. LOVED the fire table & Blackstone grill. Very nice remodeling & appliances. Cool arcade console! Could not manage to get the fireplaces to work however.」

「This was a great location very close to the Shenandoah Skyline Drive entrance and all that the park and river had to offer. For us it was hiking and tubing. The place was peaceful as we walked our dogs in the AM, and the area neighbors were very friendly. The house was a perfect size for my family of 5 and 3 dogs. If you stay at this location i recommend bringing extra towels, and extra paper towels. I would have liked to see a pet gate for the deck considering the yard fencing is not closed...

「Perfect little house. Clean and very nice host.」

「Short walk to Inn at Little Washington and Pattyo's which we didn't realize and a reasonable way to drive Skyline Drive and visit in Ruckersville. Host was very helpful. 」

「Great view, lovely cabine and the host was great. Great place for a mountain getaway.」

「We had a lovely stay and it was so nice for our dog as well. The Mountain Lake Cub had a doggy beach day on Saturday morning and it was a super fun experience. The host was friendly and responsive!」
