If you’re looking for a getaway close to downtown Boone, this is an excellent place to stay. Four stars, only because when we checked in, the house appeared half clean. We had to wash all bedding/sheets, and clean bathrooms until after midnight, BUT the review is four stars solely because the owner’s communication was great, he was kind enough to make it right to us, and he took our phone calls late in the evening to……
