「Very quiet and airy, but you need a car」

「Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!」

「We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.」

It definitely has the true cottage feel, meaning not everything is “perfect,” but that’s part of its character. The hosts were very fast at responding to any questions during the stay, and the cottage was well maintained, clean, and had everything needed for a luxurious cottage stay in a pristine location.
