Malvasia 70: Charming, self-catering accommodation in Lipari!

Our house is a two-room apartment on two floors: the ground floor consists of a living room / kitchen (with sofa bed) and a bathroom; on the first floor there is a bedroom, another bathroom and a balcony, and on the 2nd floor there is also a large covered terrace, private and equipped with deckchairs, chairs, table, kitchen area for outdoor dining in total relaxation.
It can accommodate 2 to 5 people; Our holiday home is located in the center of Lipari, in the Old town, near the main street Corso Vittorio Emanuele, two minutes walk from the square of Marina Corta; nearby available to all main services (5 minutes walk from the port of ferry terminal and Portinente beach).

Malvasia interlude

We spent 8 days on Lipari and the flat was comfortable and in a good location in a quiet, car free street just 10 minutes walk from the Marina Corta in one direction and the main Corso, with supermarket, in the other. The terrace is a great asset with lovely views and a comfortable place to retreat from the afternoon heat. Unfortunately, my husband was unwell but we were able to extend our stay for a couple of days which was a great relief. Giuseppe was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests. We really enjoyed staying in Malvasia, in the heart of the local community, but tucked away from the busy areas. Access may not suit everyone as there are 20 stone steps up to the first floor and a spiral staircase to the terrace but we are in our 70s and coped without any difficulty. I would enthusiastically recommend Malvasia as a great place to stay.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in Guiseppes Haus sehr gut gefallen. Es ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Die Dachterrasse mit Außenküche und Blick über Lipari ist wunderschön. Die Lage ist zentrumsnah - in 5 Minuten ist man in der Fußgängerzone bzw. am alten Hafen. Der Kontakt mit Guiseppe war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

Maison typique idéalement situee a quelques minutes du coeur de Lipari.

Sejour prévu de 6 jours pendant les vacances de Toussaint 2017. Écourté malheureusement par l annulation de ferrys due au vent. Donc 3 nuits passées dans la maison (nous aurions apprécié un geste du propriétaire...). Équipements tres satisfaisants et belle terrasse sur le toit malgré l accès "sportif".

excellent séjour "à l'italienne"

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette maison Liparote typique, parfaitement aménagée, avec un grand plus pour la très belle chambre avec son petit balcon et la super terrasse équipée pour faire la cuisine !! Quel plaisir d'y prendre son petit déjeuner le matin face au soleil qui se lève, ou alors le soir dans la quiétude du soleil couchant, avec vue sur la vieille citadelle et la mer. Le fait de devoir monter le joli escalier en colimaçon ne nous a pas gêné du tout, au contraire il a un petit air "d'escalier du paradis" ! La chambre est calme, même si parfois de la ruelle montent les voies des voisines qui s'interpellent de leur balcon, ce qui donne vraiment l'impression de vivre à l'italienne et apporte du charme au lieu. La maison est parfaitement située à quelques mn à pied du port et du vieux centre via des ruelles typiques. Bref le lieu idéal pour se reposer et visiter la très belle île de Lipari et parfait point de départ pour des excursions vers les autres îles. un grand merci à Giuseppe qui est venu nous chercher avec sa voiture au port et qui nous a donner toutes les infos utiles !
