Little Creek Mountain Escape: Near Point Lookout Winery + Hot Tub + Fire Pit
Just minutes from Point Lookout Vineyard and local orchards, Little Creek Mountain Escape offers the best of rural east Hendersonville. Enjoy nearby hiking, winter mountain views, and a cozy treehouse feel in summer. Pet friendly, too!
(9 mins to Point Lookout Vineyard, 25 mins to downtown Hendersonville, 45 mins to Asheville, 20 mins to grocery store)
The home has open and connected kitchen and living rooms, which facilitates connecting with friends and family with ease. There are two window doors and 3 sliding glass doors with screens—all of which connect the living room and kitchen to the outdoors. The sliding glass doors do not have curtains currently, so guests can fully enjoy unobstructed winter views. The leaves start to grow in around April and fall off in October. So between April/May and October, you’ll get to experience the treehouse feel of the living room and kitchen. Between October and April/May, you’ll enjoy a beautiful winter view if the mountains. The hot tub is located on the side deck (also with some great seasonal views) over the fire pit area.
There is one hallway, off of which is laundry closet, the master bedroom, bathroom, and another smaller bedroom. The master bedroom is fitted with a king-sized bed, desk and rolling chair, closet, and a fold up twin-sized floor mattress. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/tub combo, toilet, wall-mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash, sink, and large mirror. The smaller bedroom contains a queen-sized bedroom and closet.
Guests will have access to the entire house proper. We ask that guests refrain from entering the master bedroom supply closet unless there is an emergency requiring breaker box access. We also ask guests to refrain from entering the attic for safety reasons. The ground outside in front of the front deck gets very steep quickly, so we also ask that guests avoid that area for safety reasons.
*We love to disconnect from the outside world while on vacation, and this mountain home certainly allows for that. We use Verizon and have decent service. We’ve been told AT&T coverage is also adequate. However, other carriers like T Mobile and Sprint may have little to no cell coverage in our area. We do have fiber optic Internet though, so feel free to enable Wi-Fi calling.
We welcome 1 dog per booking for a non-refundable fee of $60. Dog must weigh 25 pounds or less and be fully house trained. Dogs left in home must be crated at all times.
For your safety and ours, we do have two security cameras (24/7 motion-detected video and audio recording devices) installed. One is located at the front door as part of the doorbell. The other camera is mounted on the far left side of the house facing the parking area. We value your privacy, and there are no indoor cameras or cameras facing the main covered deck, hot tub area, or backyard fire pit area.
**Please no Saturday check-ins. This is our Sabbath day of rest.
