“Nice, quiet spot to come back to while exploring Carlsbad Caverns. It was great to be able to do our laundry right at the house while relaxing. House is small, but didn't feel it, and had everything we needed. Also, in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a pretty church opposite. Donny, the host, checked in via text frequently to make sure everything was going well. Thank you.”

“There was a committee of kitties to greet me, which was fabulous. The property cute. The a/c unit makes quite a noise, but I’m sure when I fall to sleep it won’t wake me. There were only two tissues in the box, which meant I had to go to my car after I got changed for bed to get a box out of my car. The fridge needs to open from the other side. And the shower could use some Bartender’s Friend for the hard water stains. The bed seems comfortable. ”

“Property is nice when traveling with pets. Back yard could do with a spring cleanup since winter winds blow trash and debris inside the fence line. Upstairs has a terrific living room area and kitchen met our needs. Location is good, close to restaurants and main road connections for Carlsbad Caverns. We appreciate homes that allow for pets. Thank you”

“Traveling from Utah to Texas for the 2024 Eclipse, we stayed at this lovely rental in Carlsbad. We immensely enjoyed Carlsbad Caverns and took a jaunt into the Guadalupe Mountains as well. The home had what we needed, the neighborhood was quiet, and the house itself is beautiful and comfortable.”

“If you are looking to visit the National Park and other things in the area this was a great house and location. It is the desert so nothing is close, but this was centrally located for everything we did. And, we loved that it was an older home.”

“To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.”

“Nice rooms, friendly staff. Limited breakfast. Carlsbad is a boom town right now with oil and gas trucks and work pick-ups clogging the streets and workers filling the hotels so don’t expect anything else!”

“My friend and I spent a week traveling NM and stayed here after visiting Carlsbad caverns. It’s a really cute house, the area felt very safe, and it’s by plenty of food and grocery stores. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!”

“GPS directed you through a neighborhood to get to the property- the other exit was very rough and not ideal- I suppose construction but it was very inconvenient ”
