"We stayed just before lockdown and had an amazing time. The cottage is clean and tidy, and the hot tub is well maintained. We made use of this every night! The owners are both friendly and thoughtful. There to meet us, and speaking to us throughout the week, we found them friendly and helpful. "Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. "We really enjoyed our week at swallows nest. We originally booked a weekend but booked and stayed on an extra 4 nights. Really comfortable quiet and owners were lovely people. We would have preferred a washing machine in the cottage instead of the a dish washer but apart from that we all really enjoyed our time at swallows nest.We visited Castell Dinefwr which was only a 10 minutes drive and walked through castle woods which was a nice walk. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...
