"It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

"This was an excellently decorated & comfortably furnished apartment, perfectly located in a quiet location in the main part of town. We parked a short distance away at the ASDA car park, which was reasonably priced via the JustPark app. Helpful owners & excellent communication. "Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

"All the staff were very friendly and helpful and a well stocked breakfast buffet with poached eggs cooked to order. The WiFi however is not good resulting in our bar food order not going to the kitchen via the till, but we were recompensed for the error and the long wait, and our food arrived eventually. Perhaps an explanation of the dining options could be made at check in. However we had a very relaxing stay on the hottest two days of the year and there was already a fan in our room. We would certainly book again if in the area."

"We stayed at the Coldra Court Hotel for the first time on a last-minute whim, booking a standard Queen room the night before our wedding. While the entire experience was wonderful, it was Evan at the front desk who made our stay unforgettable. Evan was genuinely warm and friendly. When he asked how our day was, my husband mentioned we had just got married. Without a second thought, Evan surprised us by upgrading us to a beautiful Deluxe room as a complimentary wedding gift and gave us two vouchers for free drinks! It was the nicest surprise and made our special day feel even more magical. Evan possesses a rare, natural hospitality talent. He didn’t just tick the boxes of a standard check-in; he showed genuine emotional intelligence and took the initiative to turn a standard stay into an extraordinary memory. He represents the high standards of The Celtic Collection flawlessly and is exactly who you want representing a hotel front-of-house. Management should be incredibly proud to have him; he is an absolute asset and deserves the highest recognition. The rest of our stay was perfect. The room was beautiful, the food was stunning, and the staff made us feel so special. Because of Evan’s exceptional service, we are already planning our return.
