“This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.”

“Bed and breakfast was great, the staff were lovely. There were lots of little touches in the room for example, decent coffee sachets and the breakfast consisted of many cooked choices + cereals, yoghurt and fruit etc. The room was very clean and the shower was good. The only slight negative was the location as there wasn’t much around and after our dinner reservation was cancelled (chef was ill I think) we had to try and find somewhere else to eat which required driving to get there. Couldn’t be……

“Amazing weekend at a lovely property in Benllech. Denise was a great host and very responsive and the property was ideal for a chilled out weekend.”

“We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !”

“Room was very clean but bath was cracked and shower screen leaked all over the floor so got out of shower and there was more water onnthe floor than ran down the drain, stayed in the townhouse on the opposite side of the road and was very quiet indeed, rooms are named after colours and I was in the room named "scarlet" needless to say EVERYTHING was red, not really to my taste but was quite a quirky thing. Bed was very comfortable and staff were extremely pleasant as well. Would definitely stay……

“The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby.……

“very well equipped house, even have all Barbecue equipment! exceeded expectation. very clean and everything works perfectly. The surrounding area is very quiet and very nice. Quite close to Tesco and Coop in nearby town. Recommend. ”
