「This is a lovely inn on a hilltop overlooking the water. Everything is very well maintained, the food fantastic, and the room had everything we needed. What makes it stand out is the staff- they were welcoming, professional, kind and friendly- going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Recommendations for meals and outings were always presented. Thanks for a wonderful stay!」

「The room was not too expensive, breakfast was ok. A little too far from the center if Skye to travel back and forth. Would have stayed closer to the center around Portree for the points we visited. The room truly served its purpose; somewhere to sleep. Not frill but totally adequate」

「The two gentlemen at the front were absolutely amazing! Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely good people. They always had a positive attitude and made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Their kindness and great customer service truly made our trip even better and more enjoyable. 「A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable.
Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」
