Basking in a beautiful, rural position on the edge of woodland in a 9,000-acre country estate, the property has been sympathetically refurbished into a cosy but traditional family and dog-friendly bolthole. The immediate area offers fantastic walking routes with woodland and countryside trails to explore, as well as the River Annan, renowned for Salmon fishing. Hoddom Castle Caravan Park, boasting a seasonal pub and a golf course, is within a stroll of the property. The nearby villages of Ecclefechan and Dalton offer several popular eateries and a corner shop. Explore the stunning Solway Firth (7 miles) with 200 miles of spectacular rugged coastline, meanwhile, mountain bikers will be delighted with the 7stanes at Mabie Forest. The bustling market towns of Annan (4 miles), Lockerbie (6 miles) and Dumfries (14 miles) have excellent shopping and leisure facilities to enjoy.
