Peace and quiet

Great location. For some piece and quiet. Host couple couldn't have been more accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Large fenced yard around the cabin covered with green grass grass

Very peaceful

Great cabin, clean, having a fenced yard to allow the dog to go out without having a leash was a huge plus. Hosts were very friendly. Very quiet and peaceful.

The place was the perfect combination of rustic and quaint for us, with so many offerings for hiking, great food and drink options nearby! Jan was an outstanding host and most definitely the most clean and homey VRBO we've ever stayed. We can't wait to come again!

Quiet and peace

It was a beautiful drive to the property. We were working in town and this was a great place to cook, hot tub and relax at the end of the day, all the necessities were on location. There is very little light pollution and the view of the night sky was great. We enjoyed plenty of wild turkeys around to enjoy with our morning coffee. All around, a wonderful stay.

Enjoyable stay at the Whispering Moose cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cute, clean and relaxing cabin. We had a few family events to attend in Missoula but wanted to stay in the outskirts of town so the location in Lolo was perfect for us. Ron and Jan are super friendly and welcoming hosts and we could not have been happier during out stay and look forward to returning some day!

Thanksgiving

What a peaceful, cozy place! We met our son here to celebrate Thanksgiving together. I was able to prep a meal “with all the trimmings” with ease! The hot tub is a plus as is the completely fenced yard for son’s dog. We will be back!

Picture Perfect Cabin

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our visit to Missoula. We wanted to be off the beaten path in a scenic area and this was it! The hosts were available and made sure we had what we needed. We can't wait to go back and stay a little longer. I highly recommend this vacation property.

LOLO great property

This quaint little home in the woods was FANTASTIC. Property owners next door were friendly and very inviting. If you are in need and not too far out of Missoula are warm and welcoming place to stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Anniversary

We found the directions very accurate. We were there for our 25th anniversary. The fact that they allowed pets was such a blessing. We have a hard time leaving our 120lb puppy for any length of time. The hot tub was fabulous and the Christmas tree was a bonus

Cozy little cabin

We had an amazing stay in this cozy cabin decorated with love and subtle artistic taste. It is pretty small but very comfortable. We enjoyed swimming at Lolo Hot Springs and skiing at Lolo Pass. It was an unforgettable Christmas getaway!

Nice quiet place to relax

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Jan was super easy to communicate with prior to as well as when we were there. The cabin was very cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out in the deck while our dogs played in the fenced in yard. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return! Thank you Jan for the great place to relax on our trip!

Relaxing get away

Spent most of the trip relaxing with my sisters. The hot tub on clear nights was amazing! We all just needed to get out of the city and this was a great spot to do so. My dog also loved the big yard! Thanks!

Peaceful beautiful

Best Find!

We are from the Midwest and had no idea where to start in finding a place to stay that met our needs. This is our second time staying at the Whispering Moose and plan to go back for future trips. It's clean, quiet, and has the best hosts. Jan and Ron are attentive and keep the property immaculate. The hot tub on a clear night is heavenly!

The house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, charming and had everything we needed. Ron and Jan let us have our space but were open to have a couple nice conversations about the area. They were wonderful hosts. We went to "Jacks" a cabin in the woods for dinner. A big log building you need to see for yourself. Toured the Daly mansion in Hamilton, hiked the Bear Creek trail and moreGiven the opportunity, we would definitely choose to stay there again.
