Our lovely home is very sunny, airy, contemporary, spacious (~80 sq meters *excluding* private locked space). Its fantastically situated on the top floor of the building – the 5th of 5 floors (so no one is above us except sky!) with a sensational SW-facing roof terrace which gets the sun from mid-morning, all day, to evening - and gives you the evening sunset right in front.
The apartment is 2 mins walk to the famous Church Street for all its cafes, shops and boutiques, bistros, pubs, wine bars, restaurants - and the beautiful Clissold Park. From here, you can walk to Clapton and Dalston and pass innumerable more cafes, bars, shops, cinemas, theatres, supermarkets etc on the way. Very close to shops and supermarkets. We’re also well connected by bus (many go from near the building front door) and overland train.
The apartment has 2 double bedrooms (with brand new beds and mattresses) and 2 bathrooms along with the lounge, kitchen, and roof terrace. There is also actually another, separate outdoor seating and table area on the other side of the apartment for the morning sun that sits 2 people.
We offer free secure 24-hr parking space.
Owners: We are a University Psychology Lecturer and psychologist.
The space
You have the whole apartment to yourselves. (There is actually a 3rd bedroom but this will be locked to store our own things.)
The living room is large, and very light and bright from the huge SW-facing patio doors and open plan with the dining room and kitchen. We have very large brand-new LG 2023 TV with 100s of channels and Netflix etc. And super fast Wi-Fi.
We have an open plan fully-equipped kitchen (see facilities below).
The dining area has a very large table which can sit 4 very easily but up to 6 people.
The main bedroom has plenty of space in the wardrobe for guests to put their clothes. The 2nd bedroom is actually the same large size, also with wardrobe space for clothes and another TV to connect via HDMI.
2 bathrooms - both with showers/sinks/toilets and the larger one has a bath also. We provide all fresh bed linen, towels, soaps and shampoo so guests don’t have to worry about needing to pack those extra things.
There are two lifts. If you have mobility issues, you will be able to use the lift and access the flat fine we expect – but if you need to be 100% sure before booking please ask for a video / measurements.
This is a residential building – so we expect our guests to be kind and respectful of our neighbours – some of whom have lived here for 25 years. This is our home and we love living here, so we ask our guest that during their stay they treat it as they will treat their own home. There is no smoking, parties, additional overnight guests and no noise after 10.30pm to be kind to our neighbours as it is a residential building.
