It did the job, sort of.

Unfortunately, the apartment was very hot and there were no fans. The windows in the bedrooms opened a little, but there was no way to open the windows in the kitchen for a cross breeze. The back bedroom had a musty smell and the bed in there was very thin. Also, having to walk an additional 15 minutes to get the key with luggage after traveling all day was a real hassle. I enjoyed the location of the apartment as well as the amenities, however overall it was not ideal.

Lovely flat with every amenity that you could need. In a beautiful period building and on the ground floor (just a few steps to the front door). Owner had left instructions to work the heating/TV etc and it was a lovely, relaxed family home. Bathroom a little small (normal for London) but the flat was a good size. Two good sized double bedrooms, one down a couple of steps. The main bedroom next to the bathroom. Useful convenience shop 2 mins walk away, and a nice Italian restaurant. Deliveroo means you can also order deliveries/take out food easily. 25-30 mins underground to London Picadilly Circus for theatre etc from the nearest station (Warwick Road) which is 4-5 mins walk from the flat (as is the shop where you collect the keys en route to the flat). Would recommend this lovely flat.
