Short walk to underground rail that takes you to all the sites…we took in typ. tourist sites as well as turbo at Wembley. The British Museum in the neighborhood is free &amazing. The neighborhood is stunning w/ beautiful park, countless boutique restaurants, cafe’s and shopping.
We had a fabulous stay at this flat for our vacation with our family of five (3 daughters aged 15,14, and 10). We loved the quiet residential street after a day exploring London, but also being just a short walk to so many beautiful restaurants and shops in Marylebone. Access to all London has to offer also is easily accessible via Underground access super close to this flat. The flat was very clean, and our family had more than enough space. Communication with the host was also top notch. Thanks for everything we hope to visit again!
What a great stay. The place is as it indicates in pictures, beautiful.The neighborhood is quiet and while there are medical facilities nearby, no noticeable traffic noise or ambulance sirens.The first floor entrance to the building gives a little bit of a bad first impression (just a lot of stuff / nothing fancy or bad), but the flat is terrific.Had some issues with the TV but the host was very responsive and got it fixed (unplug and replug in reset it). The combo washer / dryer is nice to have but tricky to use - ask for help if needed.Location in Marylebone is fantastic. Bad luck that the local grocer was being remodeled during our stay, but was due to reopen a week later. Great specialty grocer, Baley & Sage I think, was even closer and their chocolate brownies were great. The pub “Home” nearby was nice and also a favorite.Close to Regents park, which is beautiful and handy to Baker and Regents metro stops. Perfect place for a quiet base for shopping and touring.
This is an amazing location. We wanted to "live like a local" and walk around, and it was perfect. So many great restaurants and shops, the Wallace Collection around the corner was a huge delight, and multiple tube stations an easy walk away.
