It is not in the middle of Paihia but close enough that we could easily drive in to town to eat and go on our tour of the Bay. Even better, it was just down the road from Haruru Falls, which was spectacular. We loved going on a walk along the river. We felt very much at home in our little cottage. "While the room is small, we enjoyed it’s cozy charm. Every space in the hotel – – including our room – – was clean and the service was A+. The only flaw was with our dinner one night. We were celebrating my birthday and the table placement was disappointing. But the food was fabulous and we met people at the next table that were fun to visit with. So all is well. Maybe it was meant to be. Really enjoyed this hotel and highly recommend it."
