"The room was spotless . Had everything in the kitchen we needed. Parking was right in front of our door. Loved it !!"

"Absolutely loved this place. We were on a 7 day trip through PNW and stayed at a different hotel each night, this was by far the cleanest. The self check in was a plus for us and super easy. It was very convenient because we didn’t have to waste any time at the front desk, we just went straight to the room (it helps a lot when you are tired from the road ) After booking, they sent me thru Expedia app my room number, the code to my room and the code to front entrance. Loved it"

Boardwalk Cottages

4/10 Poor

"Dated room that is in serious need of a higher level of maintenance and upkeep. The floors were filthy, our feet were black after walking barefoot in the room for an hour. A lot of pet hair around the room that got on all our clothes. Bed linens were clean but worn and actually torn in three different places. The light fixture over the shower turned on and off by itself, obviously a short of some kind. Ceiling fan hasn't been cleaned in ages, same for the bathroom fan. Overall a very disappointing experience. Cannot recommend these cottages."

"Do not recommend! Stayed for 5 days in room 206. Dirty room with furniture not dusted and mold in the shower. There are smashed bugs on the ceiling above the shower and what looks like blood stains on the front door that could be easily wiped off. Very dirty hotel. Housekeepers did not come by to make our room or replenish toiletries or towels our whole stay. The only time they came by was to ensure we were checking out on time on our last day - and they did that twice. Worst of all, our toilet clogged from regular use and when I went to let the front desk know, the bum at the front desk tried handing me a plunger. Not sure how this hotel has such high reviews on this website. Beware."

"We enjoyed ourThe adjacent restaurant provided excellent breakfasts. The property accommodates pets, which is much appreciated. An EV charger on the property would be a wonderful addition. 2 EVs were parked in the parking lot while we were there, ours and one other. There are reliable Level 2 chargers on a beach access road 1 1/2 miles a way which is not very convenient. But at least they worked, u like some we tried in other towns along our route!"
