Newly remodeled and updated, this bright and elegant beach escape has a private entrance to the pool. Serene and secluded, palm trees shade your master bedroom window. No formal balcony, but a wall of sliders in the expanded living room open wide to the partial Gulf view and gentle breezes. Picture perfect in every respect.

End of School Year Getaway

What a beautiful area!!! The main reason for not giving it 5 stars is we had to wait (with groceries) for someone to come let us in. The unit was locked and it was after office hours( 4:19). We found after hours number and waited about 15 more monitors. The other reason is the loud AC unit in master closet. So loud. And no fans in bedrooms. When AC not running it was very hot- especially at night when sleeping. We will definitely return as those are not deal breakers. LBK is absolutely gorgeous area.

Loved LaPlaya

We will be back! Well appointed and very clean. Decor was up to date and furniture and beds were comfortable. Close to the beach and we loved the lounge chair and umbrella's being provided. Close to Armand's Circle and Publix. Perfect for a family of 4. Our kids did not go with us, which is why we need to go back! Soon. :)

Great location on the beach but loud

This property is located on the beach/gulf side of LBK and is well managed/maintained. The pool was heated and never crowded. There were kayaks and sand shovels to use. The unit was clean and was a great size for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). The only down side is the unit is noisy, so not ideal for young kids. The building is close to the street, so you hear every car. Units next to ours were being renovated/worked on and the walls are very thin, so we'd hear banging/hammering early in the morning until late at night. Overall, great location and clean unit - would stay again.

A gem

The condo was great, equipped with everything that our little family would need. I as comfortable and in a perfect location. Communication with the booking and property manager wasn’t great but aside from that, zero complains!

Beautiful beachside

We really enjoyed our stay at La Playa! The condo was beautiful and clean and cool, the beds super comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the sea breezes coming in the window and the partial view was more than enough. The beach access was wonderful and convenient. We loved the chairs and private beach. The pool is heated (at least in November) and everything you could want was available - chairs, umbrellas, numerous beach towels, kayaks, SUP board, hammocks, etc. We can't wait to come back!

Family vacation

Absolutely loved our first trip to Longboat Key. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and we loved how low key everything was. The Beach was not crowded and that was our favorite thing. We did leave a day early because the king bed was broke on one side and my husband had to sleep on the couch. Definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that we had a great trip and can’t wait to come back.

Lush Longboat

This was our first time to lush and serene Longboat Key! The island is not commercialized at all. The beaches are covered with white sand. The dining options are limited but the quality of the restaurants was great. Our condo complex was older but very well maintained. The beach chairs and pool area were lovely. Our unit had an ocean view and had a beachy decor. The kitchen was small and could uses new pots and pans, otherwise it met our needs. We met lots of nice people at the pool. We would come again!

Longboat Key- The Beach Has Everything!!

Simple walk to the beach or the pool... it’s ALL right there!!! Five minutes down the road is the Chart House, excellent meal!!

Spring Break

The property has a great location just steps from the beach. Unfortunately, there is no umbrella or any beach supplies. They do provide a large quantity of beach towels. This property is smaller than expected but we made it work. The bathroom is shared by a door to both bedrooms. It was exceptionally clean but they need to replace the master bedroom mattress. It was obvious there were a bunch of broken springs on one side. Also, there is is very long, steep set of stairs to get to the condo. This didn’t bother us, but I think it’s important to point out since you do need to be able to carry luggage up and down. We had a great stay but this specific condo was a bit small for our family of 4.

Loved this property!

The property was everything that we wanted and more! The location was great and close to Sarasota, shopping, and the beach was by far our favorite. The condo was very clean and met all of our needs. I definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.
