Amazing time

I grew up going to Sand Cay and it was as amazing as I remember. Condo was nicely updated and clean. The property was in good condition, beach and grill area are amazing.

Short family beach getaway

Clean and well maintained property. Unit was up to date, light & bright & very comfortable. Beach was a short walk away & we had lovely weather. We will be back!

Great location

Easy walk to a private beach with lounge chairs. Beach towels provided also. The unit is a little dated but served our needs. Very clean and great staff.

Fantastic beach vacation

Sand Cay is the perfect spot for your longboat key vacation, and unit 311 was phenomenal. Clean and comfortable, very well appointed, and plenty of beach gear available to use! We visit Sand Cay Several times a year and this is our new go to spot. The management company on site is absolutely phenomenal.

Excellent as always

This was our third stay at the property, with us having stayed in different units each time. You can really tell that the property has made significant investments in the past few years, all worthwhile. We will keep coming back, I don’t have anything critical to say about this particular unit, but as we have stayed in other units on the property with a washer and dryer in the unit, we missed that a little with this one, but be free common use machines were still excellent. Other than that, the only other thing we missed in this particular unit was a fridge that had filtered water and an ice machine. Again, not a major dissatisfier, but with two young kids, it would be a bonus.

Our new favorite

Great location, private beach, nice sized pool, tennis court, and close enough to everything we needed or wanted to do, but far enough away to have the peace and quiet we needed and wanted as well. Great family vacation. Everything was clean and updated. They don't make them like this anymore. Sunsets were incredible every night. And bring charcoal if you like to grill, they have 3 communal grills that look out on the beach and gulf.

Great stay

This is our first stay at sand cay. We normally stay at another condo but they were booked. This property was comparable in price and location. The room was clean and comfortable for our family. The mattress in the master was a little thin and uncomfortable is my only complaint about the room. The pool on the property could have stood a better cleaning. Water was a little cloudy. This location was great and we would stay here again.

Nice condo on a great property

The condo was nice and accurate to the listing description. The beachfront property was gorgeous and very convenient. We appreciated the beach supplies provided inside the condo as well (chairs, umbrellas, toys etc.) We weren't happy to arrive to some trash and food left out around the condo however, though management easily waved the cleaning fee for us. I do have to say that for the price, the mattresses and pillows are not comfortable. The rest of the condo was quite nice however.

Nice Retro Resort In Great Location

BUT everything is well-maintained and clean, the grounds are lovely and the beach is great with lots of chairs available for guests. The manager was super and was clearly familiar with all units and everything going on at the property. Our group made use of the beachside grilling area where there was plenty of seating for our group of 15.We liked the location near the northern end of the key, close to Harry's, the Lazy Lobster, and not far from Publix. A nice place to stay!

The pool was great and the path to the beach was quick and took about 5 mins to walk from our condo to the beach. 311 was very clean and had everything you would need. Beach towels, a couple of chairs, umbrella and the kitchen well equipped. We spent all day at beach then went up to eat then hit the pool. It was not crowded at all. Check out the beach cam and see. Our condo had view of the pool. Front office people were very nice. I would stay again.

The units having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and family room allow my family to live at the ocean comfortably. The beach and water are beautiful year after year. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I am a third generation guest at sand cay and I know my family will continue to come here year after year for generations to come. We are so grateful for our home away from home.
