"It was horrible! Don't trust the online pics or the list of amenities they supposedly have. Cabins are the worst, we rented 5 in our group for a family reunion & all were horrible. We all ended up staying at a ranch half hour away & losing our paid reservation but they really could care less!The getaway cabin which was supposed to be nice, had sewer problems & the smell was gaging! They will tell you its the well water to just run hot water & not only does this not work, you end up with cold...

"This place is fabulous! Location, amenities, common grounds are beautiful. Our room was outdated. They have slapped some paint on it to make it look better but doors, fixtures, and bathrooms show signs of many years of wear and tear. At the end of the day that didn’t matter. The beds were comfortable, the staff is helpful and polite. Food was delicious, drinks were great. Overall we would go back any time."

"We have stayed here many times, first time since the takeover. One thing bothersome is the AC dies at night with no motion in the room. It gets really hot while sleeping, we overheard other people in the pool saying the same thing. Brought it up to the front desk and they acted like they’ve never heard that, google says otherwise."

"All the staff were friendly and welcoming, on both ends! The pool was great and there were towels. The breakfast was very good , eggs, sausage, cereal, B&G, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Our room was spotless, the bed’s comfortable, we slept well. A perfect 11 in my mind (that’s 1 better)"

"This is a great place to stay to get away! The views are beautiful! The cabin is cute! The cabin was clean! There is WiFi but it is seriously limited, which is ok for us. Pet friendly, which was perfect for us! The cons, the beds are rock hard! The pillows are rock hard. None of us slept because it was son uncomfortable, that could just be preference, but for us it’s a big deal! I think the porches need to be repainted and sealed, I know it’s crazy hot in Texas and humid, but they need a touch up, just because of splinters! The pool is great just needs to be kept up! It was really dirty, I know it’s to be somewhat expected but it was pretty bad. The last thing is mowing the high brass, especially at camp sites, of course I could be nitpicking, but we also live out in the Texas hills and I know those are the way to get bit by a snake. Overall it’s really nice, for us the only thing stopping us from going back is the beds, but that could just be preference."

"This is SUCH a nice Hampton! My grandsons and I had a great time. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms and property were very clean, and the pool area was great. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and it was wonderful - clean, fun jets, nice grill. The only thing that I’d say could be improved would be the breakfast buffet. There was a very limited selection, and honestly, the food wasn’t that good. Otherwise, a great time!"
