This is a very spartan hotel: rooms did not have fridge, microwave, hair dryer or shampoo. We were able to borrow a hair dryer from front desk and there is coffee and a small microwave there for common use. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is scenic with lots of pines around property, and there are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Roads in front and behind and train a block south create a lot of traffic noise. Easy access to interstates 10 and 210. We felt very safe walking around even after dark.

The staffs are efficient, no problem checking in or out. The room however isn't so good. There is an odd old carpet smell in the room, even though there is no carpet in the room. I had a room facing the street. It was extremely noisy the whole night.
