This is a great place to stay. My wife and I stayed for 12 days over Christmas 2025. It’s a cottage behind the main house with a large room and a loft. The main room has a queen size bed, kitchen and bathroom. The house is in a nice residential neighborhood which was ideal to walk my dog. Lots of good food options a very short drive from the house.

Unique and fun property in a quiet neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the large and comfortable outdoor space including pool and hot tub. The unit was well stocked with everything needed for our three day stay.

Our stay at Polynesian Paradise was amazing! Four of us flew over from Vancouver for an extended weekend stay for the Oasis concert. It was a short Uber to the grounds and after the show we ended up walking back… wasn’t too bad of a walk, took about an hour. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away.The pool and outdoor area is amazing! And we all enjoyed the detailed decor inside. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again if we return to LA/Pasadena area in the future :)

Close enough to the Rose Bowl

I enjoyed our stay here. I loved the pool and seating around it. Inside was nice. Lots of tiki souvenirs. I loved the location a lot. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood. We went to the Cruel world festival at the Rose bowl. It took us just 15 minutes to drive back ! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay very, very much! We miss it already: hummingbirds, parrots squawking above, Gigantica bird of paradise, views of foliage and San Gabriel mountains, spa, perfect pool and patio set up. The kids spent hours and hours swimming in the pool fit for mermaids. The stars come out at night, the patio aglow with tiki torches. Magical! The hosts and their dogs are a real joy to visit with. Thank you for the peaceful get-away! We highly recommend visiting The Huntington, Octavia’s Bookshelf, Millie’s for breakfast…and Grocery Outlet for groceries. Disneyland was also a snap to get to! My 11 year old would like anyone who stays to rescue honey bees caught in the pool. That was her constant project.

vacation in paradise!

We came to visit our grandchildren and wanted a place for them to enjoy a pool. It was the perfect place. The outdoor area was beautiful, well taken care of, had hot tub, great dining area and fire pit. The pictures don’t do it justice. The guest house was so cozy. Jama , our host was so quick to respond and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! What a treat. we will be back!

Great Place

Great stay. We spent the week in Pasadena for the Rose Bowl parade and football game. Having this pool house to come back to each day made the trip that much better. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. My kids loved the hot tub and my wife loved the fireplace in the house. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Great Escape

Spent a few days visiting my daughter in LA. This was a perfect little get away for her and we had a great time. We are both fans of Hawaii and enjoyed the unique vibe and beautiful setting. Communication with the Host was excellent and she helped make the visit special. It was a treat to use the spa and fireplace. The kitchen had everything needed for us so we could stay in and spend quality time together. The bed was also very comfortable.

A slice of paradise in Pasadena

We enjoyed our stay at Polynesian Paradise in Pasadena. We had a nice secluded area with a pool, hot tub, tiki torches and several gas fireplaces to enjoy. It was in a beautiful historical neighborhood of Pasadena. Plenty of good pathways for walking and interesting architectural to view as you walk. We were here visiting our son who lives at Atwater Village and it was close enough that we could see him, The property provided a good getaway after hectic days of running. The host is very friendly and attended to all of our needs. The studio was stocked with everything that you could want. TV was easy to use air conditioner worked well. We would highly recommend this place to any one who wanted to be in the Pasadena area.

Paradise Surprise ~ Tiki style!

First time staying at a VRBO with host onsite. But you would never know it. Lofted cabana poolside is as quiet and private as you can get. Comfortable, clean with all necessary amenities. Plus, the decor is an ode to the obvious love of all things Hawaiin. The theme extends poolside with the tikis and flickering lights AND the surrounding plants. Super quiet neighbor yet close to everything. If we get back to Pasadena, we'll be coming back here. Perfect long weekend!! Thanks Jama.

We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home!!! (The worst part of our vacation was having to leave!!!) The property was gorgeous and maintained impeccably!!!! There was nothing more relaxing than enjoying coffee by the pool every morning .... unless of course we were relaxing in the hot tub or floating in the pool while soaking in the beautiful California sunshine!!! It was like having our own private oasis. 🌴🌴🌴 We loved the Polynesian Paradise theme ... it made the whole place feel very special and lush. The owner, Jama, was just as lovely and welcoming. We can't wait for our next visit to California ... so we can enjoy the beauty and comforts of this beautiful Polynesian Paradise again!!! I will recommend this property to everyone I know -- staying here was the most relaxing and best experience for my family and me, and we can't wait to stay here again!!! Great Stay

Visiting from the Midwest and found this gem! The place was amazing! Parking was easy, the air conditioning worked well. The best part was the out door amenities. The pool, hot tub, tables, and best of all ambiance were just perfect. I will be coming back again for my next trip. The place was so perfect that we did not want to leave, just spend time in yard. This was my first time out there, thank you again so much for the great memories!

Terrific visit - Polynesian Paradise

This awesome property really made for a great Pasadena visit. The unit is equipped smartly and completely. Comfortable beds and living room seating. Loved being able to gate ourselves off and enjoy the wonderful pool and pool deck. Located in a great neighborhood and the host (Jama) is very nice. Evenings on the pool deck looking at the mountains was really enjoyable.

Pasadena’s Best-Kept Secret: A Polynesian Getaway

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible vacation rental in Pasadena, and I cannot recommend it enough! The place has the best collection of tikis and Polynesian art I've ever seen, creating a wonderfully unique and tropical atmosphere. The property is beautifully appointed, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plenty of privacy, and the rental is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for me and my little dog. Jama, the host, was exceptionally helpful and hospitable, always available to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights for me was working remotely by the pool. The Internet connection was super-fast, making it an ideal spot for a weekday getaway. It's not often you find a place where you can work poolside without any connectivity issues! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the quiet, safe neighborhood allowed me to sleep better than I do at home. Waking up refreshed each morning was such a treat. For foodies, there are numerous fantastic dining options nearby. My new favorite breakfast spot on Lake Street is just a short distance away. Additionally, Tacos 210, the best taco truck I've encountered, offers a variety of delicious vegetarian choices. Overall, this vacation rental exceeded all my expectations. I look forward to staying here again soon. If you're considering a trip to Pasadena, I highly recommend booking this Polynesian paradise!
