Barceló Carmen Granada Hotel

"We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Carmen Granada. The hotel is located right in the center of Granada, within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the city’s main attractions. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location also makes it an excellent choice for visiting both the Alhambra and the historic Albaicín neighborhood. It was a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring Granada. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city."

"I was really happy with my stay , the staff was very accommodating allowing me to put my bags aside both prior and after my stay . The rooms are big with a great bathroom alongside it . There’s a bar in the hotel which is great , this should be your first port of call prior to stepping outside and heading into the centre which is roughly 15 minutes walk ."

"The location is perfect . Your walking distance from the Alhambra and great tapas restaurants and shopping . The hotel has an excellent pool and restaurant. They were quick to fix an issues with our AC. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also nice with a wide variety of options ."

We had a wonderful weekend, and Sue, the manager, was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the entire check-in and check-out process. "This was a fantastic place to stay all around. First of all, it's only a five-minute walk to town, if that. La Zubia has several little markets right near by and lots of cafes and bakeries. Easy access to Granada. The house is spacious, beautiful, and authentic, with little touches that the photographs don't capture--like etched glass panes in the dining room entry, a lovely tea set in the pantry, interesting sculptures in the living room. Every room had a lovely chandelier, and the tile floor in the main bedroom is stunning. There's also a rooftop patio with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance The home was spotless on arrival, and our dog was welcomed. Rodrigo and Manuela were lovely and helpful, The only downside was the tight parking and the nasty neighbor who got upset when the wheels of our car touched the line separating our car from his. Other than that, a beautiful stay, highly recommended."

"The drive up is winding and narrow, but once you arrive...PERFECTION. This was such a delightful stay, with an amazing breakfast, incredibly attentive staff, and lovely grounds. The views from the rooms are wonderful, and the beds and baths are well appointed and unique. We loved the large hammam-style shower. We stayed in part of the original house, and enjoyed the tasteful decoration of our room as well as the other spaces."
