“Our stay was overall very good, the food, staff and atmosphere were all excellent. The room was kept clean and the beds were comfortable. My only concerns were that when we arrived the power was out across the facility for hours. I was surprised that the property did not have a generator. There are also areas that I think could use some maintenance, specifically the water slide which appeared very rusty and structurally unsound. “The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. The kitchen had all of the pots/cutlery you would want, but it would be nice to have a simple salt/pepper. They have separate towels for the pool areas/beach, which was nice, but no wash cloths. “My wife and I stayed at Casa Lajagua March 4 - Mar 7 and had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms had air-conditioning, shower had hot water and the rooms were spacious and clean. One great thing was that the rooms did not have TV's, it was so nice to get away from all the stuff that was going on back home. The patio was a great place to hang out and read and the small swimming pool was nice to cool off in. April is a great hostess and her kitchen staff prepared breakfast each morning. April……

“Our stay in Alaya was the perfect getaway from our good Canadian winters. The dome was a beautiful experience and made for a very romantic stay when relaxing under the stars on the suspended net before jumping in our private hot tub. The space was incredibly clean and the staff was always ready to help. The restaurant had a farm to table concept (they have their own permaculture farm on the land) and was beyond our expectations, not to mention the breathtaking view of the valleys and the ocean……

First I find it far too high and second the process to refund it was very strange. At check in they charged my credit card $1000 and then at check out they said they had to run it again for another $1000 before they could refund the original $1000. None of this made any sense to me and I was left with two $1000 receipts and only one showing a refund of $1000. I don't……
