“We stayed at this cottage for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Susanne is super friendly and hospitable. The cottage is really comfortable and well-stocked for cooking. The beautifully landscaped private yard is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun. There's so many things nearby to hike and explore. So sad to leave, but can't wait to return!”

“A wonderful, relaxing return visit for us. It met and exceeded our expectations. As host, Ryan is perfect. His 2 sidekicks, Bourbon and Cider were too. One of our dogs and both humans loved playing with them. The place is understatedly well decorated and comfortable. The huge front porch overlooking the view of the hill, and Morro Rock in the distance when clear, as it was for us. The sunrise and sunsets both were beautiful. The location is great for just relaxing and enjoying the view and……

“Was a great home base for my friends and I while we spent time in our old college town. The jacuzzi on the back deck was a wonderful nighttime hang. The house felt like staying at a family members home. Had everything we needed. Leslie also left us some welcome treats of local goodies.”

“Here is my review and I would give the rental 4 stars. I would expect some nice amenities in order to give them 5 stars and this place had the bare minimum so didn't qualify for a top notch review. Nice, bright and airy space overall. The home was clean and the location is good. The beds are comfortable. The coffee service was excellent. However, there are some deficiencies that should be addressed: house was over-perfumed with plug in air fresheners only 4 ceramic dinner plates in a house……

“Great location! We walked out to the beach and pier several times each day. Home is spacious and in good condition, online photos and descriptions are accurate. The home is a little noisy as the stairways are open - on the first floor we could hear folks talking on the third due to open stairways. Rooftop balcony is great for picnics and enjoying the view. Would definitely stay again - good value.”

“This was a great property, with very easy access to beach. Rainy weather was the only downside to the whole vacation but we made the best of it and this property helped. Lots of space and very comfortable beds.”

“We had an amazing time, we love Pismo. Our host was easy to communicate with and extremely generous. We were a little bummed because it was raining and the kids wanted to ride the dirt bikes. It cleared up and we were able to get some great time in. Our host offered to accommodate us by staying an extra night free of charge due to weather (seriously?? Never had this). We weren’t able to stay but so appreciated it. The house was clean and filled with everything you needed. The only bummer was not……

“Enjoyed the property except the 3rd bedroom was not a fit for our group. 80 year olds that need more privacy than walking through the adjoining bedroom. Also too difficult as the beds were against the wall so you would have to climb over each other. One of the couples opted to go get a hotel room.”

“Lovely cozy comfortable suite (with a few quirks), epic deck, great kitchen, and thoughtful hosts on site. I wish they managed the bookings themselves because the communication from the property managers Retreats (via VRBO) was frighteningly terrible, including no emailed info on check-in procedures and a 3 hour delay in response to texts the day of that I sent begging for door code (during a veritable monsoon when it wasn’t safe to be outside). I liked the location and vibe of the place but……
