"We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and cozy and looked just like the photos. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. We didn’t hear back from the owner for about a week when we initially reached out (before the trip) but communication was quick and thorough every time after that....

"Think hotel room in the woods. It was exactly as I wanted. Small room, my own bathroom, little kitchenette- better than a hotel room as it had burners and not a microwave- and a super comfy bed. The hosts were communicative and respectful. I was able to utilize the fire pit and enjoy the quiet solitude. At just a little over an hour from home, it still felt like a perfect getaway. The perfect place to recharge and reset."

No pool, no elevator, the breakfast was spartan, and the room was missing minor stuff, like a bathtub mat, and the stirrer sticks in the coffee packets. "First of all, the staff were beyond helpful...but the rest of the stay was not great. For the price I paid, there are really no amenities: no pool, the lone elevator was out of order, the breakfast was below basic (with no diabetic options except lukewarm coffee and some yogurt), the mattress was worn, as was the bedding, and the room felt damp. It wasn't "bad", but we have had much better, at a much lower price. In summary, I felt overcharged for what I received... I DO want to say how much the morning desk person was helpful in getting us down to the 1st floor, and checking us in early. Highlight of the stay..."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and we found everything we needed for our stay with ease. Everything was as-described and the views from the deck were awesome! We had an issue with a downed tree (from a storm) on the access road to the house and the host quickly had the issue taken care of. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone."

"We've stayed at various rentals at Chalet High four times now. All the units are older. They're not fancy. But they've always been clean and everything's always worked fine. The kitchens are better stocked with cookware than many rentals as well, which we appreciate. I believe all, or at least most, of the rentals have dishwashers, wash machines, and driers in the units, which is a huge plus for us."
