"What a great stay! The rooms, decor and hotel itself were updated and fresh. The beds were comfortable and everything in working order. My husband liked the hot shower. The only problem really was the wall heater would come on, after-all it’s January, and wake us up. "

"It was relatively clean and quiet. Simple, but pleasant decor. It was very inconvenient not to have a bathroom in the room. The entrance stairs were long and steep. I was having trouble with my back at the time, and it was painful and difficult. The location did not seem safe to me. It was nerve racking to have to leave my room to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The lick on the door was inadequate, as was the street entrance security.
I called the caretaker of the property to express my concerns, and try to get out of the second night. He took offense, and berated me for being prejudice. I never said anything to give him that impression! I Just that I didn’t feel safe in the area. We ended up “eating” the second night, and stayed elsewhere."
