Das Hotel ist nett, aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen! Der Service im Restaurant ist leider nicht so aufmerksam, wie wir uns das vorstellen (Teller stapeln sich, die Getränke kommen verspätet). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt gesamt leider nicht.

Everything Top! The best thing is that we were on holidays about 3 years ago at Hotel Excelsior Lovran und we forgot our jackets there ! Now after almost after 3 Years in 2026 , We were again there for holidays and asked the Receptionist about our stuff ( i was not expecting that , i asked them just because i was curios ) And guess what !!! In less then one hour they found our stuff and handed over to us !!! One Plastic bag with 2 Jackets ,One pant and 20 cents coin in it ☺️ Unbelieveable 👌Very Honest and Very Safe Place for Vacations !

😃: Direct at the ocean, Family friendly, view from the seaside-Rooms is VERY beautiful 😔: staff is overwhelmed at times with the amount of work and not always friendly, rooms are pretty run down (Stains on carpet, walls, shower), the food can be called mediocre at best (kids love the pizza buffet, and it really is the best thing you can eat there), the beach on the ocean doesn’t ever have enough chairs and people block the chairs with their towels all day, which is ok, because it’s nice to lay in the garden. But the beach entrance is also not as charming as you would expect. Overall I felt I paid to much for what I got and I wouldn’t go back.

We had a great week at this hotel including my birthday! They made sure you have everythinf you need. The Suite 506 is big enough for a family of 4 and beautiful view of the bay. Room was cleaned every day and enough and fresh towels were brought. Room service is efficient and on time. They do awesome massages (Svitlana) and other face cares (bravo to the manager Melita). Andrea from reception speaks great english and was so helpful. Same goes for kitchen staff. The breakfast buffet delicious. Dinner is also good, no too many choices but the ones there, are tasty. You have public parking around or the hotel garage for 17€/day. Take your masks and snorkel in the morning, the hotel has a nice spot and you'll see fishes, seastars and maybe a crab :-) We were there end of june, not too crowder and that changes a lot your experience. We love croatia, they really know how to welcome tourists. Old city of Lovran is beautiful, also the Lungomare Opatija is a long path by the sea to walk during evenings. If you wanna eat outside, go to Riviera restaurant, amazing fish and great staff!!
