“We stayed the weekend to celebrate my Ducks birthday. It was about 20 min outside Eugene. The weather was rainy, cloudy and foggy but the view was still beautiful! Great family room for watching Tv and table in the dining area for games. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you need. If you like a fire you might want to bring some wood but other than that I can’t think of a thing we needed. Host was very responsive with questions.”

“This is a truly magical and blissful place to stay. Being in the yard feels like a little retreat escape. My toddler loved exploring the yard too. The actual roundhouse is beautiful- I especially enjoyed looking at the stars through the ceiling dome window at night. The only feedback I have is it would have been helfpul if the AC had been turned on before we got there- it was 92 degrees inside when we arrived. But it cooled down relatively quickly. “This home was very comfortable and quite honestly adorable. The private patio (of which I would call a sanctuary) is also very nice to relax in with a glass of wine or whatever you prefer. The hosts were also very quick to answer any questions that I had which is a plus. I highly recommend this unit and plan on going back when visiting Eugene.”

“The property is absolutely charming! When you pull up you feel immediately welcome. The yard is perfectly maintained and beautiful. The cute little cottage was perfect for our needs, just big enough for us. We had enough room when my daughter - whom we came to visit - had plenty of room with her friend to come hang out and play games. The only bummer I have to point out is the lack of fencing. I saw the fences in the pictures and never realized that they do not connect to the house. I thought……

“I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. I reached out to the property owner( right next door) and she said she knew nothing about the hot tub, but her husband did. I then reached out to the property manager- left a message and sent a text- never got a reply. I loved the done house itself. And the view was amazing!!!”

“We loved this place!! Like someone else said in another review, sitting on the porch feels like you're sitting right over the water. It was so comfortable, very straightforward to get checked in, and there was even spare coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. Right as we were leaving we saw a bald eagle battling with a duck on the river, maybe fifty yards from the patio. This was a remarkable place to stay!”

“I am so lucky to have found Carole's cottage. It is a gem in West Eugene. The cottage is well appointed with a comfortable bed and stocked kitchen. It is in a cute neighborhood with a few restaurants and parks. Carole was such an accommodating host and helped make my trip so special. I was solo parent traveling with my baby, and Carole was able to provide a crib and high chair, allowing me to pack more efficiently. Carole was quick to respond to my questions and requests, and it was a pleasure……

“I needed an inexpensive place to stay while the flooring in my house was redone. This was exactly what I needed. I especially enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful backyard meadow, perfect for the three visiting deer.”

“This cute studio is PERFECT for a couple. One queen size bed. The layout is great. Location is ideal. There's shopping, food and entertainment in CLOSE proximity, but doesn't feel like you're in a congested business district. The host thought of everything - INCLUDING the high ceiling cabinets (we're short: 5'4 and 5'5) so there was even a folding step stool provided! The care was in the details. Would like to stay again. I'd give it a 10 if I could. Only thing I'd forewarn, if you drive……

“It was a beautiful property and a very unique stay! I would not consider it dog-friendly - lots of stairs and the deer (while cool to admire as a human) were not interested in sharing the yard with my pup! I would also travel light due to the stairs. The host was more than helpful though, I would come back! Check in while the sun is still out, it gets dark fast!”

“The property is conveniently located and has a U of Oregon feel. Our suite and the common areas could use refreshing. No in room safe. Housekeeping every 3rd day unless it is requested more frequently. Service at the restaurant/bar was very slow.”
