"Stayed one night at the hostel. This isn’t a hotel, so if you are searching for quiet and sleek accommodations then stay elsewhere. Teens and college students mostly stay there and run about the property - even at 11pm. The rooms were clean but not fancy at all. It’s ok for one night. The area doesn’t have semi- luxurious accommodations.... I think the price is high for a youth hostel. If there were fancier rooms then I didn’t see them. The place does have a pool and the view of Jordan is nice...

"I don't think hotels.com distinguishes between rooms with or without a balcony. I reserved a Standard Room and fortunately, I was assigned one of these rooms. The balcony is wonderful, providing a 180-degree view of the town and surrounding hills. Room and facility features and services were as advertised and as expected, consistent with the other HI hostels where I have stayed. "The Michel House is. a beautiful place just on the edge of the old city. It has been renovated with modern amenities but still holds the original feel. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. The manager and the owner were very kind and welcoming. The hardest part was getting there through the city and the parking. But since it it in the center of the city, I guess that is to be expected. Since it is family owned, early morning and late hours are harder to get a hold of someone, but they try to accommodate this with several contact numbers. "
