"Stayed for GS concert.. Room "

"Very clean room and very respectful staff. Hallway carpeting should be replaced, but not a huge issue. Hotel overall should be updated a smidge. Parking is too small for hotel size and difficult to find a spot. Would stay again if i didnt have to rely on parjing my own vehicle. "

"We stayed at MCM Eleganté Hotel & Suites Lubbock during a concert weekend and had one of the most frustrating hotel check-in experiences we’ve ever had. We got in line at 2:45 PM to be ready for the 4:00 PM check-in, only to be sent to the back of the line after 45 minutes because our room type wasn’t available. After waiting again, we reached the desk around 5:10 PM and were told our room still wasn’t ready. With no other options provided, we were forced to change in public restrooms and finish getting ready in our car just to make it to the concert we had driven 12 hours to attend. Our room wasn’t ready until 5:52 PM (the concert had already started). They then had the audacity to go knocking on doors at 9am the next morning asking people when they were going to be out of their rooms. (Check out time is 12) This wasn’t just a delay—it was a breakdown in the check-in process. No organization, no urgency, no care for their guests, and no accommodations offered to guests who were clearly affected. It significantly impacted our experience. After attempting to contact them after this experience and allowing them the opportunity to make things right, their response was that they were one of the only hotels in the area to waive a two night minimum for the event. Which isn’t even true because when I booked this hotel 5 months ago, there were tons of available hotels for a single night stay. "

"just be aware the property is old. Outside doors have to be pulled in order to shut, no plug in our sink drain, no trash can in bathroom. Drain plug in bath was out and when we ran the water, hair from the drain came up into the tub. Shower head was covered with hard water corrosion. No diet drinks in case to purchase. No vending machines."

"Staff was a bit standoffish at check-in. We felt like we received a “less than” greeting since we’d booked through a 3rd party. The staff member told us due to “the type of booking,” we weren’t eligible to PAY for an early check in. This was at 2:30. Official check in was at 3. 30 minutes later when the magical time hit, we were informed of the $18 amenities fee. Fire pits were off due to high winds and the pool was busy with college students who came and went while we were there. Grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed cornhole and the pool, but it seemed weird to pay to use all of it when restaurant customers and local students could do the same for free. I realized later that I’d left my sunglasses downstairs. When my husband went to the front desk to ask if they’d been turned in, the gentleman he asked shrugged his shoulders without even faking an effort to look for them and said “not to my knowledge.” The room was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the property was lovely….but we won’t be back because of the sub par service. We were so excited to stay there but were let down. "
