I was a little worried as it was close to the railway station but location was excellent and good vibes all round. A lovely and quirky hotel in an excellent location, just a few hundred yards/metres and you are through the city walls. City and the Mura di Lucca are spectacular! Would recommend and will gladly stay again as plan to be back again in the next year.

The rooms and amenities were excellent, the breakfast provided daily had a good selection to start your day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The extra amenities in the room were a bonus (kettle for coffee and tea, in the hallway there was extra coffee, tea and cookies if you wanted a snack) The location right beside the train station and across the road from Lucca City Center make this hotel ideal, we would highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again

Very disappointing — only suitable for a one-night stay Sadly, this hotel was a huge let-down. The only positive points for us were that the air conditioning worked well, the room was clean enough, and it was dark and quiet enough for sleeping. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very old and tired inside. The hallways and other areas have stickers and patches everywhere, seemingly covering holes and damage in the flooring and walls, which really adds to the run-down feel. The rooms have a retro 1970s feel and certainly haven't had any renovation since. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. We had paid for it, but it was essentially inedible, so we ended up having nothing and going out to eat instead. Overall, it may be fine if you simply need somewhere to sleep for one night close to the centre of Lucca, but we would definitely not stay here again. The condition of the hotel and the poor breakfast made the experience very disappointing.
