Enjoy the ease of Ski in/Ski out living at Trailside on Okemo Mountain. Our three bedroom, three bathroom condo aka "Don't Poke the Bear", is located just a few steps from Sachem trail (green). This is the perfect spot to enjoy all that Vermont skiing has to offer right out your front door. On the main entry level you will find a large mud room with ample storage and seating with a close by full bath to make getting ready to hit the slopes nice and easy. The open floor plan on the main level has a recently renovated kitchen which is open to the dining nook with seating for 8 people. The open floor plan continues with the living room which has a wood burning fireplace, sectional couch, sliders out to the deck where you will find an ample amount of firewood. On the upper level is a private primary suite with an on suite full bath, all recently renovated. This suite is separated by a door, so privacy is not an issue. On the lower level there is a bunk room complete with two bunk beds (4 twin beds) as well as a media room/bedroom with a pull out futon/sofa (queen). This space has a large TV, Xbox and a ton of board games to keep the kids busy. Also on the lower level is a full bathroom and laundry. All linens, towels and necessities will be provided. When you are ready to ski, just head out the front door, across the street and get on Sachem trail which will easily take you down to the Clocktower base area or the Sunburst Six. Sachem is also a great starting point for snowshoeing or skinning up to the summit.
Don't Poke The Bear is conveniently located just a short drive down the mountain from the town center with lots of shopping, restaurants and bars to visit. Main and Mountain, Off the rails and Calcutta's to name a few. In the warmer months, Golf, hiking and biking trails are not far as well as the Adventure Center at the Jackson gore and don't forget Maple Creemees at the Green Mountain Sugar House.
