Stunning Okemo Views - 3BR 3BA - 6 Mins to Lifts on 10 Private Acres

Recently constructed 3 bedroom / 3 bath home on ten acres, private road, under five minute drive to downtown and 3 miles from Okemo’s base areas.

Epic views of Okemo and surrounding mountains from every room. Cozy around the fireplace in the living room or enjoy 'Smores outside by the firepit, or a drink on the deck.

Two bedrooms have king beds and third bedroom has two queen beds. One full bath is located on the upper level in between the King Bedroom 1 and Queen Bedroom. A second full bath is located on the main level and is en-suite to King Bedroom 2. A third full bath is located in the finished lower level.

Well appointed kitchen with gas range, both Keurig and drip coffee makers, large toaster, food processor and all the pots pans and minor appliances needed to prepare your favorite meals, or grill on the deck and enjoy dining outside at the six seat outdoor dining table in warmer months.

Finished lower level with expansive views of the ski trails has 60" TV, Pac-Man arcade, foosball, games and comfy extra deep couches.

A Beautiful Stay in a Beautiful Home

The pictures of this home are lovely, but they don't quite do justice to the views this home has and the atmosphere it creates. Movies in the basement with the kids, watching sports and cooking in the living room, reading by the fireplace, and running up and down the hill in the backyard after a day of skiing. It's a lovely home in a great location - easy to get to town, easy to get to Okemo and easy to check in and out of. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Serenity and stunning mountain views

We are repeat visitors and have already booked for next year. For us this is the perfect fall getaway in Vermont, with ample hiking, fun shopping, and scenic views everywhere. The homeowner could not be more agreeable and it has been a pleasure to spend time in this beautiful home and area.

Breathtaking views in a beautiful home

Rarely does a listing exceed expectations, but this home was absolutely stunning. The booking process was easy and all communications with the home owner were friendly and informative. In the main living area, the large windows framing the view of the mountains in the distance are stunning. In our short time at the home, we watched sunsets and evening storms through the windows. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics and the large kitchen table was perfect for enjoying meals, or in our case, a jigsaw puzzle on a rainy afternoon. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean, spacious, attractively appointed, and comfortable. The basement lounge area was a huge plus for our teen son who was able to have his own space to hang out. All house policies were made clear and we experienced no issues during our stay. This home is truly top notch! The town of Ludlow is charming. We enjoyed tacos from Tacos Tacos (a favorite of my son) and pizza from Goodmans American Pie. If you are looking for some adventure, head over to Okemo. We took the ski lift to the top of the mountain, then hiked up to the old fire tower for incredible views. You can grab a snack at the lodge on top of the mountain before hiking back down one of the trails. They also have a mountain coaster which was fantastic. Our last day, we took a ride over to Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, NY. It is only 90 minutes away and was a full day of fun for us.

What an incredible house! There was so much room to spread out and enjoy. The house was immaculate when we arrived and Mr. Newman was incredibly responsive and helpful. I cannot recommend this house enough. It was a perfect distance to the slopes and to town.

Spectacular Vermont hideaway

Fabulous Property

The property was beautifully designed with many places to enjoy. The deck had chairs as well as a table and chairs. There was another seating area with a firepit with ample seating. The view from the house and deck was absolutely incredible. You are able to see the mountain from every window! The house was appointed well with many places to enjoy. The kitchen was spacious with many amenities, several seating areas, beds were very comfortable, washer and dryer and the bathrooms were great. Our stay happened to coincide with the horrible flooding event in VT. The property owner was amazing by communicating updates often providing details about the accessibility, travel options and overall access to stores in town. We will definitely return to this location and our family enjoyed a lovely stay.

Fantastic Stay

This property has a great layout (3 levels), beautiful views in a quiet location, abundant wildlife, is very clean and well-supplied. Owner/host contacted me shortly after booking, and a week prior to our vacation, with great suggestions for sites and points of interest. Our departure was 10/6 and we feel like we hit the perfect time for fall colors which covered Okemo in the distance. A couple of us enjoyed a chiminea fire around dusk. Furniture is comfortable. Streaming services worked well as we watched college and NFL football. Kitchen appliances, cookware, and dining supplies were more than adequate. This is a nice home with a helpful owner, and one we gladly recommend.

Wonderful secluded property with outstanding views, and conveniently located

We had a great week relaxing around the house and property, enjoying the seclusion and quiet. The views from the living room, sun room, deck, and game room are absolutely outstanding. The house has everything you’d need / expect. We enjoyed exploring Ludlow (a short drive away) and the surrounding area. I also made it out for several bike rides right from the house which was quite peaceful. Highly recommend this property.

The VRBO was better than expected. Close to town and slopes yet secluded and quiet. The views from the house are amazing. The property is new, well equipped and spacious. Great summer retreat

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks to escape the July South Carolina heat and revisit the Ludlow area after being away for many years. The house was very comfortable for the two of us, as well as friends who visited during our stay. Sitting at sunset on the deck was a highlight for everyone, and we loved watching the wild turkeys in the meadow behind the house. The location, less than 5 minutes from town, can't be beat. We can't say enough about what a terrific host Erik was for us; he promptly replied to all questions and concerns, and all minor issues were promptly resolved. It was hard to pack up and leave, and the time just flew by!

Favorite stay in Ludlow!

We absolutely loved this property! We have visited a couple of houses in the Ludlow area and this was by far our favorite! The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean and had the perfect layout for a family. The kids loved sledding and playing outside after a day skiing. The views of Okemo were stunning! Erik was extremely responsive and provided us with all of the information needed for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

This was the perfect home to stay at while skiing at Okemo. The location of the home provides privacy with beautiful views of the mountain while only being a few minute drive from anything you need. It was very easy to get to the base of the mountain in only a few minutes. Great proximity to shops and restaurants. Awesome Getaway

The property was fantastic and perfect for our family. Check-in and out was seamless and the owner was very responsive and helpful.
