Elegant, authentic, characterful Burgundian farmhouse dating from 1876 - featuring a traditional "Mâconnais gallery" - perfectly and carefully restored. Charming, typical little hamlet nestled in a bucolic, rural and wine-growing valley, in the very heart of the magnificent vineyards of the Haut Mâconnais. Splendid landscaped setting, alternating vast hillsides of vines, meadows and wooded hills, 2.5 km from the picturesque wine-growing and commercial town of Lugny (numerous shops and services). Nestled at the foot of the Château mountain in the hollow of a beautiful hilly cirque, this charming village has a rich heritage (12th century Romanesque chapel a stone's throw from the gîte, traditional winegrowers' houses, bourgeois residences, remains of a 14th century château, wash houses, etc.), a renowned treetop adventure park and benefits from a remarkable protected natural site of around a hundred hectares (numerous nature hiking trails) offering an exceptional panoramic viewpoint over the vineyards, the Saône valley, Bresse and the Jura Mountains. Spacious and comfortable gîte. Countryside character with an exotic "vintage" atmosphere. Large gravel terrace completed by a pleasant private garden with a second dining/relaxation area in the shade of a maple tree. Perfect location for exploring: 6.5 km from the medieval town of Brancion, 22 km from the illustrious abbey city of Cluny, 24 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 26 km away), 29 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roche de Solutré, labeled "Grand Site de France", 39 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "Town of Art and History"), 39 km from Louhans and 58 km from Charolles.
