The owner was lovely and this older building has been kept up beautifully. My only suggestions is to perhaps replace the mattress in our room as it wasn’t very comfortable . I would definitely recommend this place and the location was perfect for what we wanted.

Great location but no parking provided and on street paid parking is the only option during the daytime. Room was adequate but very hard mattress, no microwave, tiny bathroom and tired decor.

The very first picture that they show for this property on Expedia is one right on the water. What that photo is, is not the hotel and for an unseasoned traveller like myself, I didn’t know it wasn’t the hotel or it’s property. I didn’t realize that the property itself was much further. And I paid for a waterfront view, thinking it was an actual waterfront view, but what I got was a sliver of waterfront view that was in between two buildings that you could barely see the waterfront and it was behind a bunch of trucks that were parked there because it’s a parking and loading area. The hotel was not worth the money. I could’ve stayed in much better places in Lunenburg and paid less. The owners are very nice. The amenities are all old and I couldn’t even find an ice machine. I would never stay there again.

The owners are lovely and so welcoming! Though the inn is older, it’s spotless, and has all the amenities of home. We had a king suite and we had a balcony to watch the sun set. Highly recommend!

To enter the lobby, there were 4 steep concrete steps to climb. Challenging with luggage, but it is designated a historic property, so it can't be changed. After taking the elevator to the third floor, we needed to go up 2 more carpeted stairs, go 5 feet and then 3 carpeted stairs down. Just to let others be aware. Lot's of character for a historic property.
