"After some bad weather prevented us from staying at our original planned accommodations, someone suggested we try the Mimslyn for the night. So we booked on the app and checked in around 11:30 pm. Beth the manager was fantastic - very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The room was well-apportioned and spotless. Breakfast the next day was also excellent. All the staff were friendly and informative. Most options in Luray are the strip-mall variety of hotels. The Mimslyn is a stately building with charm and touches of luxury, topped off with staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If you're staying in the area, this is hands-down your best hotel option."
