Because Econo Lodges are privately owned franchises, quality varies, and it’s clear this owner cuts every corner possible. The room looks nothing like the advertised photos and doesn't even have a proper coat closet. Worse, the sheets were stained and had hair left under them—yet the owner's only excuse was that he and his wife personally changed them. There were also noticeable spider webs and dust……
