Join guided fossil walks run by Lyme Regis Museum and the Heritage Coast Centre at pretty Charmouth (2 miles). Stroll through the town’s beautiful seafront gardens and along the promenade with wonderful sea views. Tranquil country walks are on your doorstep, while the South West Coast Path offers glorious vistas. Non-members are welcome at the town’s golf club and children have their own seafront mini-golf course. Lively Bridport (9.5 miles) has lots to see, with regular street markets selling everything from plants to paintings. Picture perfect Durdle Door and the beautiful Lulworth Cove are an hour away and offer spectacular sea swims and cliff walks.
