「Excellent location right on the outskirts of Old Forge. Secluded, friendly neighborhood (seasonal houses/cabins) just minutes from the lake. Pass allows access to a secluded, small community beach or swimming area on the lake. Camp Pawnee is exquisitely decorated with custom furniture, paintings and other fun decor. WiFi was great, and sufficient for our needs, including streaming services. Property manager was attentive, easy to reach by email and very friendly. Back deck and yard were great,...

「Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again. 」

「love this place second time I stay here. I must say it's a family friends place so I'll just call them myself for my next stay,and save the fifty buck cleaning fee that the owner doesn't get. they pay their own cleaners. sorry VRBO. I will how ever use the service for many other stays but not this one.」

The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. 「This is our second stay at High Pines cabin, and it’s always a pleasure. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoy sitting on the screened in-porch, listening to the rooster crow, or the birds chirping or the river ever cruising by. Thendara and Old Forge are close and there are a few good golf courses not too far away.」

「Good place, secluded and quiet, nice home, nice porch, 1 mile from Main st, a yard to play in, plenty of parking. A newer home and well cared for. Nice place for a family. The 10 AM check out was tight, it was required of us to dust all furniture and wipe and dry the showers and sinks, sweep; we haven't seen all that before in the check out rules of a VRBO. 」

「Our family ranged in ages 8-80 and all of us had an amazing time! Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking was everyone’s favorite past time. The huge dock accommodated all of us. It was especially nice having Old Forge literally right around the corner. The beautiful house was enormous with plenty of room for everyone. This was one of our favorite vacations!」

「Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house!」

「The cabin was adorable and the perfect size for me, my husband, his brother and his brother's wife. The location was close to town, but felt like you were in the woods. We spent alot of time on the front porch watching for wildlife. 」
