「We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are...

「An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready...

「Great location. Comfortable beds. Little issue getting maintenance to look at a potential problem but attentive in the end.」

「It's a clean well supplied kitchenette suite, with a small private hot tub and parking beside the door. Exactly as described in the ad, and just what we needed. Great communication by the host.」

「Exceptional host , great communication , very clean , brand new BbQ, quiet and peaceful , huge pantry and selection of dishes , beautiful bath thub with beautiful view . Only thing I would suggest the host to adjust the hot tub setting so it’s easier to access and manage . I’d rate this place a 4.8/5 overall 😊」

「This is such a great spot to use as a base to explore the coast. It is a comfortable, spacious suite with everything you need. I could've used a proper kitchen but I also managed fine without it. Hosts were super responsive and very helpful. Excellent value. Walking a couple of mins round the corner to be dazzled by the amazing sunset over the water was an absolute treat.」

「This is a basement suite, 1 block from the beach. Quiet, except the dog upstairs does bark, and then our dog would reply.」

「Rooms were very clean and beautifuly decorated. Bathroom was spacious and the antique claw foot soaking tub was a bonus. Sophie has taken the time to decorate and appoint the suite very well and was very quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend her suite and we will stay there again the next time we are on the peninsula.」

「Beautiful place and very convenient location. Host provided clear instructions (including taking a wide turn to get in!) and everything went great.」

「We were delighted when we saw the place. The backward is a gem. The owners were incredibly nice. The place was clean and very well maintainedFrom the moment we arrived it felt like home away from.We will definately look at you g there again Jocelin and Victoria」

「This was a super rental. Maria was very responsive and the accommodation was immaculate. Will definitely stay here again.」

「This home and it’s outdoor space is absolutely adorable. The hosts have put so much thought and effort into every detail. We housed our four adult children there while my husband and I stayed very close by with family. The backyard is set up beautifully for entertaining and has an awesome view of the ocean. Jake, their gorgeous and loving dog who guards the property from bears, is an added bonus. If you are traveling to the Sunshine Coast I doubt you will find a better place to stay!」
