“Pete's place was a great getaway. Just a quick drive to some great hikes in Shenandoah National Park. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plan to visit again in the fall!”

“Fantastic hosts. Separate apartment in the basement of family house. Beds excellent. Great shower. Hosts provided not only snacks but fresh eggs from their chickens! They have a super friendly dog, many chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas. I got to feed and pet and brush them. If I'm ever near Charlottesville again I'll come back here for sure.”

“This property was perfect for my brief work trip. The place was very clean with thoughtful amenities. It is much more spacious than a hotel room and in an excellent location. Property owner, Tatiana, is a very good communicator. She was clear and concise in every step from booking through check out.”

“This is a happy little cottage near a small stream. The house was wonderfully clean, decorated in happy friendly colors and very comfortable. It is situated close to many attractions and a great spot for bicycling up to the Blue Ridge, or if you are not that ambitious, staying on the quiet roads in the bottom of the Shenandoah valley. A set of great porches for watching the sun rise or set really enhanced our stay. We were expecting a bit more of a creek, the canoe would be good for kids to play……

It was truly unbelievably beautiful! I visited the winery called Revelation in the Hebron Valley. The sunset was beautiful and the wine was delicious. The Blue Ridge Mountains were gorgeous and I also visited the Shanandoah river. I just couldn't get enough of the area and I can't wait to come back! Well done……

“A tropical Paradise in the middle of Charlottesville, close to everything yet very tranquil. Wonderful bedrooms and discrete work areas on the inside accentuate the unbelievable pool area and pavilion behind. Beautifully well done, and not adequately depicted in pictures. It’s a near perfect getaway venue. Amazing hosts were always available and nothing went undone or wanting. Very responsive and cordial.”

“Overall I am pleased with my stay. The location was very close to the airport and convenient to Charlottesville and the Shenandoah National Forest. Space was ample for one person or a couple. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and necessities. Lots of clean towels and linens. It is a basement apartment so it is damp and musty which is to be expected in a basement. The footsteps overhead are quite loud but otherwise it is a quiet location. Stairs outside are a little steep and it is not……

“It was so much fun to stay at the barn apartment with horses right outside the front door. Nice morning and evening walks and a fire pit to enjoy before calling it a day. I would definitely stay again.”

“We had a really great time in Charlottesville and a comfortable stay at this property. Checking in was a breeze and we were delighted to find chilled beverages in the fridge and a basket of yummy snacks on the table upon arrival. The bathroom is also well-provisioned in the event you forget any toiletries. Beds are comfy, linens are crisp and we slept well the three nights we were there. Extra snaps for the black-out curtains. We did a few loads of laundry and the new Whirlpool stackable……

“The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,……
