We are so glad you enjoyed the location - the home truly is in a location that offers a wide variety of opportunities - outdoor adventure, outlets, etc! We have had record high rain fall this year. Adding the dehumidifier in addition to damp-rid in each room has worked. In the future please express these issues during your stay as we can work with our maintenance to remedy your concerns.

We are so glad your family group enjoyed the location of our home. Ponds, docks, etc! When you book in the future check amenities before hand. Our rental agreement you signed fully communicates what you said we are lacking. We require this document to clearly relay information on what is offered/allowed in an effort to be transparent for both parties involved. Enjoy the rest of summer!

We are so glad our family home was once again a great vacation. The beaches are fantastic and an easy walking distance! A great variation to the Saco. We encourage our guests to always reach out with any concerns. The 3 bedrooms on the lower level stay very cool if you leave the door and windows closed during the day, as they are mostly underground (Typically mother nature does a wonderful job regulating temps, and sometimes we just cant do anything about a head wave!) Following your stay, we found our family vacation home to be misused. This was attempted to be covered up by first placing a sticker over the ring camera within a few hours of your arrival. This camera has documented evidence of: -You entertaining more than the 8 people beyond your booking -Smoked on property -Brought a dog into our home -Excessive use of the home/yard -More than the allowed number of cars -Left windows open at check out -Left lights on at check out -Left heat on in bathrooms at checkout -The floors are a mess -Checked out 30 minutes late -Left downstairs toilet clogged (this was mainly due to the excessive use, the septic is not designed to handle the amount of people you allowed) -Several stains on carpet - had to use shampoo to remove We respect our home as it provides a place for great memories to so many families. We also greatly respect our neighbors. The misuse of our property breaks down our home and neighbor relations, and is by far very disrespectful. Parties are not permitted - this was conveyed to you when you booked our family home. This is stated within the rental agreement that you signed prior to your arrival. While in our home you asked for 8 additional guests to attend due to the venue you had planned on using no longer being available. You had far more than the additional 8 you asked for. Smoking and animals are also not permitted on the property per the signed rental agreement. Due to the fact that you broke the rental agreement multiple times as listed above, you and members of your party will not be allowed to rent from us in the future and we are withholding your damage deposit.

Our rental agreement created by a lawyer, was designed to effectively communicate information as well as protect all parties involved. The three main points that you addressed were all outlined in the agreement as well as on the website that you accepted when initially booking.
